The Panjab University Constituent college, Guruharsahai Distt., Ferozepur, was initiated under the auspices of Panjab University in collaboration with Punjab Govt. and U.G.C. in 2011. The College is situated on Firozepur-Fazilka NH near Guruharsahai town, near Indo-Pak Border, at a distance of 37km from Ferozepur . The College is initiated to cater to the needs of students in educationally backward areas in order to provide them access to quality education.
Panjab University Constituent College, Guruharsahai , Caters to various professional Skills, promotes value based education and enhances the potential of the students and ingrains in them the ideals of social equality, services , discipline and respect. In our college education is not confined to the classrooms teaching or strait-jacketed with in the prescribed syllabi. Various competitions and extra curricular activities are also organized in our college. To provide exposure to the students and to ensure overall development of their personality. Our students have won many prizes in various sports and extra . curricular activities at university level in past couple of years. Students are encouraged to move beyond the boundaries of prescribed syllabi & to Explore various dimensions of knowledge. To Encourage better performance in studies, prizes are awarded to the students can the basis of their results in have examination. Prizes and certificates are also awarded for distinction in Co-Curricular Activities.
